Care about the environment and want to learn about stop motion animation? Join OISE student and stop motion animator Tim Whalley in this engaging, hands-on workshop. Through this workshop, participants will learn about the basic elements of stop motion animation, create their own short animated vignettes and have the opportunity to contribute to a larger project. Aligning with Tim’s masters’ research topic, the impact of marine plastic pollution and ways to combat this global challenge will also be covered. This workshop is ideal for OISE students and future teachers interested in using this artistic technique with students to explore a variety of topics.
