The CBSE Student Faculty Research Gathering, a monthly session that is open to all graduate students from all departments, is focused on building the capacity of students to conduct research and write publications with the support of faculty members.

McCready with Research Assistants, Bethel Soressa & Rose-Ann Bailey, this session explores research on the lived experiences of Black youth leaving federal and provincial sponsored child welfare (referred to simply as “care”) using innovative participatory visual and digital methods.

Black Faculty in Conversations Series is an annual event that focuses on a specific theme and features an esteemed group of academics.

Led by Dr. Shawna-Kaye Tucker, this session will start with the fundamentals of reading empirical research effectively and how this supports our writing.
